Same Sex Couple Deliberately Chose Christian Bakers To Advance Their Cause

Same Sex Couple: Craig and Mullins

The Supreme Court ruled Monday in favor of a Colorado baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple, in one of the most closely watched cases of the term.

In responding to the ruling the same sex couple left no one in doubt that their action was deliberate, in order to override the christian beliefs of the bakers.

“Today’s decision means our fight against discrimination and unfair treatment will continue. We have always believed that in America, you should not be turned away from a business open to the public because of who you are. We brought this case because no one should have to face the shame, embarrassment, and humiliation of being told ‘we don’t serve your kind here’ that we faced, and we will continue fighting until no one does,” Craig and Mullins responded Monday.

THE BAKERS: Jack Philips and the Wife

John E Kelly These two individuals are left wing activists. They wanted an issue much more than they wanted a cake. I wish everyone would try to see the world from other people’s perspective – I know that won’t always work but here it would have – In Denver I bet there were 100s of bakers who would have been happy to bake the cake and the baker with strong religious beliefs could have exercised his first amendment rights – a little comity would have gone a long way.

Benjamin K Scheier Once again, their agenda gets in the way of actual facts. The baker did not refuse to “serve their kind.” He offered to sell them any pre-made cake they wanted. He refused to “participate” in their wedding by making a custom made/decorated cake for their wedding. Huge distinction. These distortions if the truth to serve an agenda are just falling flat.

Cheryl Bland In this country a privately owned business should have the right and the freedom to adhere to their religious beliefs. There are many bakeries that would be more than happy to decorate you cake anyway you want it! Why these people through hell because of their beliefs. You expect them to respect you, why don’t you try respecting them!
