I Have Changed I Stopped Being A Prostitute When I Was Appointed Minister, Please Forget My Past – Zambian Information Minister

Zambian Minister of Information who was allegedly an ex-prostitute has begged his people to forget about her past and focus on who she is presently.

The Zambian Observer reports that the beautiful minister, Kampamba Mulenga, has allegedly urged everyone to forget her past records of promiscuity and judge her on her present and future life as she is now a changed person.


There are reports that the young woman was a very popular prostitute before her appointment as a minister.

But speaking last week, she said was deeply saddened by some Zambians who still refer to her past when describing her.


She reiterated the fact that she is now a changed person as she has left her past behind.

“I am a changed person who deserves to be welcomed and accepted in the society,” she told some PF senior members in Livingstone.

President Edgar Lungu dismissed his Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services Dr Chishimba Kambwili on Tuesday. He will be replaced by Kampamba Mulenga.

“President Lungu Appoints Ms. Kampamba Mulenga As New Information Minister

Lusaka, (Tuesday, November 8, 2016)

His Excellency Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu President of the Republic of Zambia has appointed Hon. Kampamba Mulenga, MP as Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services taking over from Hon. Chishimba Kambwili, MP, whose services have been terminated with immediate effect.

The new Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services is Member of Parliament for Kalulushi Constituency on the Copperbelt Province.

The President has encouraged the new Minister to serve diligently and with high levels of integrity as she takes up this important role.
